Mindy and I put the tar on the foundation. That is one
messy job! I'm glad that is over with!!
The next morning we got busy with the rough plumbing.
Our friend Dean Miller came and helped us lay it out and do it right.
It was great to be able to do some work ourselves instead of waiting for others to get their part done. Everyone was excited to really be working on the cabin instead of talking about working on the cabin!
Even the little boys wanted to help with the laying of the pipe.
All done! No leaks (we hope) and now waiting for inspection from Carbon County. The floor is scheduled to be poured on Saturday the 9th of August.
Kody and Mindy and Josh and Jen pulled their trailers up to the property Friday night and we had our first official sleep over at the cabin property. Yes, even RaNel camped!! It was great fun and gave us just a little sample of what it will be like when it is finished and we can all sleep over in the cabin!

Wow! Good job on that tar! I would rather make lunch for the workers! We can't wait to see it!
It's looking good! You guys are the best...I can't believe it's been now over 2 years since we met on our trip. A lot has happened since then. We hope we can come visit sometime. You need to stop by if you are ever down this way. We do have a guest room! Love you!
