WE HAVE A DRIVEWAY!!

I know it doesn't seem like much, but this is the first real work that has been done at the lot!! We now have a driveway. We took up the pipe for the excavator to lay for the electrical and water lines. We were able to drive right up to where the cabin will be. The excavator had also laid a culvert pipe in the low area so that we could drive over it with no problems. Things are moving right along. The hole for the foundation should be soon.

The process has begun!

In January 2008 we purchased a 4 acre parcel of land in the Aspen Cove Subdivision at Scofield Reservoir. For several years Randy has wanted to build a cabin and finally his wife agreed. The kids have been all for it and now it looks like it is going to happen. I thought that it would be fun to enter the 21st Century and keep track of the building progress on a blog. So here we go. Thanks to my daughters and nieces for the incentive to begin the blog.
