Decking Arrives

We were ready for decking, but the mill didn't have a full load ready to deliver. So Josh enlisted the help of his father-in-law Robert Zeeman. He drove his truck and trailer and we drove ours and both got a load of decking for the second floor.
Supervising the loading

We got it up to the cabin and Randy lifted it up onto the purlins. He spread it out so that when the workers arrive in the morning they will have somewhere to walk on to start nailing it down.

For someone who is scared of heights, he did a great job!

This is what the ceilings will look like. This is just loosly laid out, but will be tighter when it is nailed down. The grain and knotts look great!!
