More Progress

Last year when we were so focused on the plumbing and electrical, it seemed like nothing changed from time to time working at the cabin.  This year there is a change each time we go up.  The handrail was so light, so I decided to stain it dark to match the doors and king posts.
As I was staining, there was a place that something had gotten spilled on the log and it showed up after the stain was on, so I had to sand it down to get rid of the mark.  As I was doing that, I really liked the look that I got as I sanded, so I decided to distress the whole banister!  Brancen helped with the sanding.
After so much hard work on the banister, we took some time out for "Dancing with Grandma"!  He learned really quick!

Jane and Mindy painted the bathroom doors so that the knobs could be put on.

Now we have HOT water and we can shower!  If you just look in the bathrooms, you would think that the project was all done!

The interior logs are all sprayed and so now painting on the sheetrock walls can begin.  Mindy got her bedroom wall primed and partially painted.  We have the kitchen ready for color as well as the main floor hallway.  Part of the stairway is ready also.

Now that the logs and ceiling are stained the lights can go up.
All the bedrooms now have the lights and fans up.

We even have a wall decoration up.  Of course it is a clock for the kitchen.
We need to know if it's time to eat yet!
